Is the oven temp of 250 F accurate for the steak? Seems low??
hello, sorry for my late reply, i missed this, yes 250 is correct, you are basically holding the steaks in a warming oven until the sauce is ready, you will have cooked the steaks to a medium temp in the frying pan, if you would like them cooked to med well or more you will do this while basting.
