Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon in lardon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Cut bacon in ½ inch cubes then sauté them in a frying pan on high heat until they start to brown on all sides, once the bacon is cooked place on paper towel to absorb the grease.
- Wipe pan dry, return bacon back to the pan, when they begin to sizzle add the maple syrup and bring to a boil, lower to a simmer and reduce until each piece is candied.
- Cool on parchment paper.
