Dark Chocolate Bread Pudding

Dark Chocolate Bread Pudding with Drizzled Maple

Serves 8-12

  • 3 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 70 g chocolate Milksa powder
  • 1bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 eggs.
  • 1/2 cup 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Wabanaki Maple for topping
  • 1 loaf of day old bread.
  • 4 packages Oat Company snowball granola

 

 


Instructions

  1. Place the boiling water, Milksa powder and semi-sweet chocolate chips into a bowl; let’s sit for 2 to 3 minutes, mix to combine.
  2. Temper the four large eggs and then add into the chocolate mixture along with the sugar, vanilla and salt.
  3. Cut the bread into cubes and place it along with the Oat Company Snowball granola into a large bowl, pour the chocolate mixture over top and mix well. Place into a grease 9 by 13 pan.
  4. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
  5. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup.
