Turkey Taco

  • 1 lb fresh ground turkey meat
  • 1 small red onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 10 mint leaves, chopped
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • finely diced Cucumber
  • finely diced tomatoes
  • Chopped black olives
  • Homemade tzatziki sauce
  • Feta cheese


  1. In a bowl combine the ground turkey with the red onion, garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of olive oil, mix well to combine.
  2. Form the turkey into 4 portions.
  3. Place one portion of turkey in the center of each tortilla, flatten until the entire surface of the tortilla is evenly covered.
  4. Heat the remaining tbsp of olive oil in a skillet or on a grill, place the tortilla in the pan with the ground turkey down, cook for 8-10 minutes, flip the tortilla and cook until the tortilla becomes crispy.
  5. remove from the pan and add the cucumbers, tomatoes, and olives, top with the tzatziki sauce and feta cheese.
