Swiss Stuffed Turkey Burgers with Cranberry Mayo
Turkey is not just a tasty centerpiece for holiday feasts; it also boasts an array of health benefits. Packed with essential nutrients, turkey promotes overall well-being and supports various bodily functions. Its versatility in cooking adds to its appeal, making it an excellent choice for a range of dishes, including the ever-popular turkey burgers.
Turkey is a lean source of protein, essential for muscle development and repair. Protein also helps in regulating blood sugar levels and promoting satiety, making it an ideal food for weight management. Moreover, turkey contains important vitamins and minerals like B vitamins, selenium, and zinc. B vitamins aid in energy production, while selenium and zinc contribute to a healthy immune system and promote optimal cell function.
When it comes to turkey burgers, they offer a nutritious alternative to traditional beef burgers. Ground turkey is leaner than ground beef, resulting in lower saturated fat content. This reduction in fat makes turkey burgers heart-healthy and beneficial for maintaining cholesterol levels. They are also a great source of iron, which supports red blood cell production and oxgen transportation.
Turkey burgers allow for customization with a variety of herbs, spices, and ingredients. You can enhance their taste and nutritional profile by adding herbs like thyme, rosemary, or oregano, and incorporating vegetables like onions or bell peppers for added fiber and vitamins.

Will make with chicken and cranberry sauce. Not a fan of avocado. Love the rest of the recipe. I made chicken soup tonight and will make this to go with it this weekend
