Grilled Chicken Skewers
What a fabulous day we had on Friday! We had a blast in Grand Barachois NB with Bob from Subaru of Moncton and the fantastic people from Friends of the Moncton Hospital who were celebrating a VERY successful fundraising campaign!
We grilled beef and chicken and served it with Grilled Anti Pasti vegetables. Perfect food for entertaining and sharing with friends!

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in strips
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 clove of garlic diced
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- Juice of one lime
- 12 basil leaves cut in chiffonade
- 1 tbsp Hot Under The Kilt Acadian Cajun Seasoning
Instructions
- Secure your chicken strips onto a bamboo skewer place in a bowl.
- Add olive oil, maple syrup, salt, pepper, basil, lime juice and Hot Under The Kilt Acadian Cajun seasoning; using the skewers to whisk everything so that all of the chicken is coated.
- Cook on a hot grill or bake in the oven until the chicken reaches internal temperature of 168 Fahrenheit, Approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
