Coldwater Shrimp Guacamole

As a guac lover I’m all over this recipe that adds delicious Coldwater shrimp to an old favorite. Coldwater shrimps are so versatile and can be added just about anywhere for an additional boost of protein and flavor. Serve this guacamole with tortilla chips for a light lunch or a delicious snack. Coldwater Shrimp Guacamole Recipe

Coldwater Shrimp Guacamole

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1lbs cold water shrimp
  • 3 avocados
  • 12 cherry tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • Juice of one and a half limes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

 

 


Instructions

  1. In a medium sized bowl incorporate diced tomato, red onion, green onion, cilantro and the meat of the three avocados.
  2. Mash the mixture then incorporate the shrimps, finish with lime juice, sour cream, salt, pepper and cilantro.
  3. Mix well place in a bowl and refrigerate for 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with nacho chips.
