Ingredients

  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 1/4 lbs lean ground beef
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup tamari or soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 6 green onions chopped
  • 4 cups brown ice, cooked
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet. Add the ground beef and scramble fry until browned.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant. Stir in the tamari, brown sugar and chili flakes, cook until the sauce has been cooked into the beef, stir in 1/2 of the green onions.
  3. Serve the beef over the rice and top with the remaining green onions and sesame seeds.
