The Perfect Harmony of Lemon, Garlic, and Seafood Elegance

Few dishes capture the essence of coastal dining quite like baked haddock paired with sweet, tender crab meat. My Citrus Haddock and Crab Bake recipe is a celebration of simple, fresh ingredients that come together to create a meal bursting with flavor and sophistication.

Haddock, with its mild taste and flaky texture, serves as the perfect canvas for a tangy and aromatic lemon garlic dressing. The addition of crab meat elevates this dish to new heights, adding a rich, luxurious layer that pairs beautifully with the haddock’s delicate profile. Together, these seafood stars create a combination that feels indulgent yet approachable.

What sets this recipe apart is the thoughtful blend of seasonings. Fresh lemon juice and zest brighten the dish, while Kilted Chef Daily Catch seafood seasoning lends a unique depth of flavor. A sprinkle of fresh thyme enhances the natural earthiness, complementing the seafood without overpowering it. For those who may not have the Daily Catch seasoning, a mix of smoked paprika, celery salt, and dried herbs can work wonders as a substitute.

This dish is as versatile as it is delicious. Serve it with roasted vegetables or a crisp green salad for a light, summery meal, or pair it with buttery mashed potatoes for a heartier option. The simple preparation makes it ideal for a quick weeknight dinner, yet it’s elegant enough to impress at a dinner party.

A final garnish of fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon wedge is all you need to complete this dish. Whether you’re a seasoned seafood lover or exploring new culinary horizons, this Lemon Garlic Baked Haddock with Crab is sure to delight. It’s a testament to how fresh, quality ingredients can transform simple cooking into something truly spectacular.

A very generous thank you to  Logan’s Daily Catch for sponsoring this recipe. It is an honour to work with brands that align with our values and make it possible for us to share these recipes with you.
