Black Forest Protein Bowl

Black Forest cake is one of those classic flavour combinations that never fades away. The mix of dark cherries and rich chocolate has a way of feeling both comforting and indulgent at the same time. This Black Forest Protein Bowl takes those familiar flavours and transforms them into something lighter, fresher, and packed with protein.

Creamy cocoa-infused Greek yogurt creates the base, while warm black cherries bring natural sweetness and a deep fruit flavour that balances the richness of the chocolate. Dark chocolate chunks melt slightly into the bowl, adding texture and extra decadence, while hemp hearts finish everything with a subtle nutty bite.

The result is a bowl that feels somewhere between breakfast and dessert — satisfying enough for a morning meal, but rich enough to curb a serious chocolate craving.

What makes this bowl work so well is the contrast of temperatures and textures. The cool creamy yogurt against the warm cherries creates that classic café-style feel, while the chocolate ties everything together into a true Black Forest-inspired experience.

It is the kind of recipe that looks impressive, tastes indulgent, and still comes together in minutes. Perfect for busy mornings, post-workout recovery, or those evenings when you want dessert without going completely off the rails.
