- 8 cups fruit of choice, we used 2 cups each of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
Topping
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Combine the fruit, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and cardamom and gently mix to combine, turn out into a 10 inch cast iron skillet or a 9X13 baking dish.
- Combine all of the topping ingredients and use your hands to mix, sprinkle over top of the fruit filling.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until top is golden and filling is bubbly.
Notes
This recipe can easily be cut in half for a smaller crisp.
