Hot Honey Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup hot honey ( sub with regular honey)
  • 1 X 12 ounce can of beer ( your choice)
  • 1/4 cup butter cut into slices for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, honey and beer together, it will be thick and lumpy-that’s ok.
  3. Line a 9 X 5 loaf pan with parchment paper, add the batter and add the sliced butter and a drizzle of honey on top.
  4. Place the loaf pan onto a baking sheet and bake for 50-55 minutes.
  5. Optional: add more butter and honey when the bread comes out of the oven.
  6. Serve with your favorite, meats, cheese, and preserves.
