- 1 large head of broccoli, stems removed
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- chili flakes
- parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400
- Cut the broccoli into large sized florets.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the broccoli and cook, uncovered, until fork tender, remove from the heat and drain.
- Ensure that the broccoli id dried, place the florets on a parchment lined baking sheet, use a glass to “smash” the broccoli.
- Drizzle the florets with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper and chili flakes. Finish with a generous sprinkling of parmesan cheese.
- Place the pan into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
