Cheesy Lobster Dip

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped dill
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp Hot Under The Kilt Acadian cajun seasoning or substitute Cajun seasoning of choice
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese, divided
  • 8 ounce of chopped lobster meat
  • 1/4 cup lobster juices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Place the first eight ingredients into a bowl and use a hand mixer to beat until smooth.
  3. Fold in 1/2 cup of cheddar, the lobster meat and the lobster juices.
  4. Place into two 6X4 bakers or casserole dish of choice, top each with 1 cup of cheddar and bake for 20 minutes or until the dip is bobbling and the cheese has melted.
  5. Serve with crackers, pita or nacho chips.
