Turkey Tacos Two Ways
This recipe was created by “Team Turkey” in our first ever Turkey cook off with member’s of the marketing team from Turkey Farmers Of Canada meetings held at the Marriott Hotel on June 21/2006 and was the winner of the Judges vote! They did an awesome job considering that they had 1 induction burner and 1 pan to work with! Ingredients
Marinate turkey meat with half a lime juiced and sprinkle of HUTK Cajun seasoning. Pan sear or barbecue till done. In bowl add 1/2 cup mayo add hot sauce and Cajun spices to your taste. About 5 dashes hot sauce and 1 /2 tsp Cajun spices squeeze in half a lime juiced, 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro. Stir together Guacamole crema take half of the airline and add to 1 mashed avocado and dash of lime juice. Apple Pico de Gallo chop 1 tomatoes and add 1 diced avocado and half a jalapeño pepper, chopped apple chopped cilantro and salt and pepper. Mix together assemble by using a tortilla or lettuce cup, spread avocado cream then top with turkey sprinkle with Pico de Gallio and enjoy.
