Hearty Pork Homemade Chili

This recipe is based on one my niece Denise Davidson always makes. Perfect for a cold winters day!


2 lb ground pork
Three Peppers diced any combination of red yellow or green
One large onion diced
2 cloves garlic minced
One container white mushrooms sliced
2 28 Oz cans diced tomatoes
One can of tomato sauce
One cup of beef broth
One teaspoon of turmeric
1 tablespoon chili powder
One envelope Clubhouse chili seasoning
4 small cans chili Style kidney beans


Add the ground pork to a large pot with enough oil as needed. Scramble fry until no longer pink. Stir in onions, garlic, peppers, and mushrooms, stir until soft. Add can tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, spices, and kidney beans. Stir to combine and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and allowed to cook for one and a half to two hours
