Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped shallots
  • 1/2 lb snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and olive oil in a skillet, add almonds and shallots and cook until they are are fragrant and the butter is beginning to brown.
  2. Add the snow peas and saute until crisp tender 1-2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, add lemon juice and salt.
