- 16 slices bacon
- 8 jalapenos
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1 green onion chopped
- 2 tsp Bad A** Burger Booster ( substitute with steak spice)
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp panko
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 4oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup Asiago cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Place the bacon on a parchment lined baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes.
- Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- Heat the olive oil over medium high heat.
- Add the ground pork and cook, breaking up with a spoon, once all the pork has crumbles add the red and green onions, Bad A** Burger Booster and parsley, cook until the begin to soften.
- Stir in the cream Cheese, allow to melt.
- Add the grated cheddar, allow to melt.
- Stir in the 1/4 cup panko and remove from the heat.
- Place the jalapenos on a parchment line baking sheet and fill with the pork mixture.
- Scatter the asiago cheese and 2 tbsp of panko over top.
- Wrap each popper with a slice of bacon securing with a toothpick if needed.
- Bake (400F) for 20 minutes
