Gingerbread Buttercream Board
Everywhere you look someone is posting about butter boards; they’re all the rage but you know that The Kilted Chef would have to put his own twist on it….a gingerbread buttercream board with lots of pretzels, gingerbread cookies, and other assorted goodies for dipping! Perfect for the kids and the kids at heart! Thanks to Bob and the team at Moncton Subaru for their partnership and for hosting us!

Gingerbread Buttercream Board
Ingredients

- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 4 cups icing sugar
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- Pretzels
- Assorted cookies
- Assorted candies
Instructions
- Place the butter, ginger, and molasses into the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until smooth.
- Add the icing sugar 1 cup at a time, mixing well between each addition.
- If the icing gets too stiff add a bit of cream 1 tbsp. at a time.
- Place the buttercream on a serving dish and surround with assorted goodies for dipping.
