Classic Lobster Roll
Is there anything any better than an old fashioned lobster roll? Regardless of whether you like a soft roll, a hotdog bun or a hamburger bun please don’t overlook the grilling step, this takes your roll way over the top, oh, and never too much mayo, let those amazing lobster flavors be the star! - 6 Italian Style Buns ( or use New England style Hot dog buns)
- 3 oz soft butter
- 1 pound lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- Juice of 1/2 a lime
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3 oz romaine lettuce, chopped
Instructions
- Cut a V in the top of the bun , butter buns on both sides and grill.
- In a bowl mix the lobster meat, mayonnaise, celery, chives and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the romaine between the buns than spoon the lobster mixture on top.
