- 75 oz. Pork & Beans, Canned (5-15 oz. cans)
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup Blues Hog Smokey Mountain BBQ Sauce (or your favorite brand)
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
- 1/2 cup “Killer Hogs” The BBQ Rub (any BBQ rub will work for beans)
- 2 Smoked Sausages, sliced in 1/2”-1” thickness (we used mild)
Instructions
- Prepare the charcoal smoker or pellet grill for indirect cooking at 250-275 degrees. Use your favorite wood for smoke flavour.
- Drain the pork & beans into an aluminum pan.
- Add the diced onion, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, smoked sausage and BBQ Rub.
- Carefully fold in the ingredients to mix and cook uncovered for 2.5-3 hours or until onions are soft and the liquid has thickened.

- Cook Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
