Healthy Homemade Delight: 3-Ingredient Strawberry Chia Seed Jam
Creating a delicious jam with just three simple ingredients might sound too good to be true, but our Strawberry Chia Seed Jam proves otherwise. This recipe brings together the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries, the nutrient-rich power of chia seeds, and the low-calorie goodness of monk fruit sweetener to create a healthy and flavorful spread. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or desserts, this jam is not only easy to make but also a fantastic way to enjoy the wholesome taste of strawberries all year round.
One of the standout ingredients in this jam is chia seeds. These tiny seeds are a nutritional powerhouse, packed with fiber, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and various micronutrients. When added to the strawberry mixture, chia seeds help to naturally thicken the jam while providing a subtle crunch and a boost of nutrients. They are an excellent addition to your diet, promoting heart health, aiding digestion, and keeping you full longer.
The use of monk fruit sweetener in this recipe is another highlight. Monk fruit sweetener is a natural, zero-calorie alternative to traditional sugar, making it a perfect choice for those looking to reduce their sugar intake without sacrificing sweetness. Derived from the monk fruit, this sweetener has a pleasant taste and does not cause spikes in blood sugar levels, making it suitable for people with diabetes or those following a low-carb diet. When combined with the strawberries, it enhances their natural flavor without adding any unnecessary calories.
This Strawberry Chia Seed Jam is not just healthy but also incredibly versatile. Spread it on toast, stir it into yogurt, or use it as a topping for pancakes and waffles. The process of making this jam is straightforward and quick, and it stores well in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, allowing you to enjoy its fresh taste and health benefits at your convenience. By using fresh strawberries, chia seeds, and monk fruit sweetener, you can create a delicious and nutritious jam that everyone will love.
